Erth Play was founded on this simple premise — playing makes us happier, healthier humans.

I launched Erth Play™ in 2023 from my cozy home office in West Kelowna, and the adventure continues today!

The idea for a silicone beach playset sparked on a beach day with my kids, as we tried building sand sculptures using those cheap, flimsy plastic toys that break the moment you try something fun. I remember thinking, "Wow, these tools are absolute garbage!” They didn’t encourage creativity; they just got in the way. That got me wondering: Why are these tools bad? The answer was obvious—bad design. So I set out to create a beach playset built from safer, sturdier materials that actually sparks imagination, instead of smothering it.

By day, I’m a product design engineer and the founder of Erth Product Development Inc. I studied Mechatronic Systems Engineering at SFU and have spent years working with brilliant teams on breakthrough stuff—AI, robotics, consumer electronics, industrial design.

But, my proudest achievement? Designing a playset that brings joy to families while being kind to our planet.

My design philosophy centers on joy, functionality and elegance. Every curve, every material, every innovation, meticulously designed for simplicity and purpose.

Fast forward nearly a year later to the summer ‘24, after countless design failures, successes and optimizations (plus, a lot of sand, splashes and hustle), we arrived at a design that eliminates boundaries, enabling you to build faster, safer, and more sustainably together!
